"Ecoparque Interactivo sin animales" podrá jamás reemplazar a los
animales de verdad por mas "parque con tecnología, educación ambiental,
espacios verdes, parque educativo, atracciones, hospital veterinario,
arquitectura, huerta, reciclado y energías sustentables" que incorporen.
La maravilla de ver
un elefante a pocos metros moviéndose o un león o una jirafa no se reemplaza
con ninguna "realidad virtual".
Ante los argumentos
que presentan los políticos bolu-progresistas, o perverso-progresistas
sociocrático-colectivistas y darwinistas sociales de CABA, respecto a que los
animales tienen derechos y que en el Zoo viven en pésimas condiciones, yo
afirmo que los animales del zoológico tienen derechos a un buen trato, buena
alimentación y ambiente limpio, pero afirmo también que no solo no son salvajes
sino que fueron criados y nacieron en cautiverio para la educación y conciencia
ecológica, ambiental, biológica, geográfica e histórica de la juventud y para
la supervivencia de las especies tanto por su conocimiento por parte de las
nuevas generaciones de seres humanos que aprenden a amarlos como por la
necesidad de contar con pools genéticos de estas especies fuera de sus hábitats
naturales, cada vez mas reducidos por la necesidad de tierras para cultivos y
ganadería. Estos animales descienden en su mayoría de otros que han nacido en
cautiverio por generaciones, y afirmo que las condiciones de insalubridad y
abandono alegadas no son inherentes al concepto de Zoológico como institución
sino que son causadas por concesiones para la explotación incapaces o corruptas
y no me explico como esta administración de Larreta y PRO no actuó mucho antes.
Es sospechoso y me
inclino a pensar que se permitió que se llegara a este punto de abandono que
mencionan con el propósito de tener una excusa o argumento para estatizarlo y
poder liquidar este histórico e invaluable tesoro de humanidad, ya que los
chicos de los colegios y las familias que lo han visitado durante mas de cien
años han obtenido conciencia planetaria y como especie dominante de la riqueza
de vida que existe en nuestra casa, la Tierra, y han sido inspirados,
informados y han aprendido a amar a estas especies, las cuales jamás podrían
ver en su hábitat natural, salvo unos pocos privilegiados que puedan viajar.
Respecto a las
acusaciones de sufrimiento de los animales en el Zoológico, cabe tener en
cuenta que si esta bien manejado, allí viven vidas mucho mas largas y con mucho
mejor salud que sus hermanos salvajes y viven en absoluta seguridad, lo cual no
ocurre en sus ambientes naturales.
Por ejemplo, si bien
es la ley de la naturaleza y por supuesto hay que proteger los ecosistemas
naturales, la realidad es que por ejemplo, los animales en África sufren de
parásitos internos que le destrozan los órganos, parásitos externos como
garrapatas y enfermedades como la transmitida por la mosca tse tse, sufren de
hambre y sed, accidentes de cacería, lesiones de gravedad y hasta muerte en
peleas con otros machos y al envejecer, los devoran vivos las hienas y licaones

pesca, necesitan esas tierras para su ganado y sus cultivos. Por eso, matan a

importancia fundamental para preservar las especies que brinda un banco
genético rico y variado distribuido en Zoológicos alrededor del mundo, en
excelentes condiciones de alimentación y salud.
Respecto al
argumento de que los animales son prisioneros, yo respondo que la mayor parte
de la humanidad pasa la mayor parte de sus vidas en transportes públicos,
oficinas o fabricas y al terminar de trabajar vuelve a su casa, generalmente un
reducido departamento de un promedio de 20 metros cuadrados. Ninguno de
nosotros es absolutamente libre.
La superoblación
mundial determina esta realidad.
El Zoológico alberga
2000 especies de animales, entre ellas 89 especies de mamíferos, 49 especies de
reptiles y 175 especies de aves y suman mas de 2500 animales. Debemos

cercanía de seres humanos y en el caso de las aves rapaces que se quiere
liberar, terminaran acercándose a los humanos en algunos casos atacándolos o a
sus mascotas y por supuesto serán atropellados por automóviles en rutas y
autopistas y serán ingestados por las turbinas de los aviones.
En el caso de los
monos que se quiere liberar en la selva en Misiones estos animales serán
rápidamente asesinados por las poblaciones de monos salvajes, que los
rechazaran y no los reconocerán porque detectaran en su olor y actitudes algo
extraño a la especie o morirán de enfermedades y parasitosis, sin mencionar el
peligro de que contagien a las poblaciones salvajes con algún virus o bacteria
contraídos en el ambiente del Zoo.
Debemos salvar al
Zoológico de Buenos Aires.
Los argumentos para
su transformación en Ecoparque que se alega es por un "cambio de
